Each year the Campbell County High School (CCHS) DECA students have competed at the DECA International Career Development Conference and have won numerous top ten awards. Business/Marketing related classes taught at CCHS are Introduction to Business, Marketing & Entrepreneurship, Accounting I & II, and Money 101(Personal Finance).
At the beginning of the year, recruitment of new members begins at the our annual Club Rush event held before school starts. At Club Rush, we handout flyers and have students who are interested sign up. We hold monthly meetings in September, October and biweekly meetings in November and December. In January, February we hold weekly meetings. All meetings are normally in the evening.
CCHS Chapter Advisor Autumn Williams has been involved with DECA since August of 2018. She is a Hastings College graduate, with a B.S. in Business Education and Minor in Accounting and M.A. in Educational Administration. She has been teaching for 18 years. She spent two years in Douglas, WY at Douglas High School and has been in Campbell County School District for the past 16 years. She taught for 11 years at Twin Spruce Junior High and has been at Campbell County High School for the past five(5) years.
