Hello Wyoming DECA!

My name is Edison Havugimana (I also go by Eddie), and I am your 2024-2025 Vice President of Leadership. I have been part of DECA since my freshman year, gaining valuable experiences through my event in Sports and Entertainment Marketing. This event, along with other opportunities DECA has provided, has allowed me to flourish in various activities. The practice in speech fluidity has enabled me to compete effectively at Speech and Debate competitions, while leadership roles have made me an effective leader in band and Academic Decathlon. My favorite memories include the travel opportunities to ICDC since my freshman year, as DECA ensures members have experiences that go beyond the competition. It’s my privilege to serve you all, and I hope to “Be The One” who enhances your time in DECA during this upcoming school year.
